I genuinely hope Britney Spears is doing better. It looks like it, between the new album (Femme Fatale) and the fact that she’s still with a guy who seems decent (her old agent).

Well, I’m no shrink or anything, but Britney sure as hell looks fine here. This is a performance in San Francisco (sold-out, I hear) to help promote her new album. The chick looks damn good in fishnets, doesn’t she?

Looks like she gave the performance her all. Now if only Britney had a little wardrobe malfunction and that zipper slipped down: no one would mind seeing those tits naked, Brit Brit. I bet it’d do wonders for album sales, too.

Paris Hilton was moved to tears as she was handed a prize for her humanitarian work

The millionaire reality TV star, along with her sister Nicky and mother Kathy, was given the accolade by the Starlight Children’s Foundation for her philanthropy efforts.

Following a silent auction and a cocktail dinner at the Century Plaza Hyatt Hotel in Los Angeles, the Hiltons were presented with their Heart of Gold trophies.

Hilton took to Twitter.com after the event to tell her fans about the emotional night, writing, “Such a beautiful evening tonight accepting my award for the humanitarian work I do with the children of the Starlight Foundation. Such a heartwarming night listening to all the parents’ speeches. I was so touched that I cried.

“These families and their children go through so much and my heart and prayers are with them. It’s such an amazing feeling to give back and make a difference in someone’s life. I am so honoured to be apart of such an amazing cause.”

And the following day Hilton continued her charity work by taking part in a run alongside singer Fergie, her husband Josh Duhamel and Glee star Dianna Agron, to raise money for the Japanese earthquake and tsunami relief effort.

Lindsay Lohan has signed a $3 million deal to front an explicit photographic book

The actress – who completed a court-ordered 90-day rehab stint last month and is currently awaiting trial over the alleged theft of a $2,500 necklace – is reportedly “struggling” to find work after her recent troubles.

American photographer Terry Richardson has now persuaded the 24-year-old star – alongside her former love interest James Franco – to appear in the publication, which will feature “full frontal nudity” and “graphic” shots.

An insider told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “Lindsay is struggling to get another break in Hollywood. There’s a stigma attached to working with her and she is determined to change this – starting with the photographic book.

“Terry Richardson has persuaded Lindsay and James to get involved. He has assured them it will be provocative but tasteful. There will be a lot of nakedness – some of it graphic and suggestive – but it will be a real statement book.

“Obviously there will be comparisons to Madonna’s 1992 ‘Sex’ book. But James and Lindsay believe theirs will be classier.”

Meanwhile, the ‘Mean Girls’ star will also be giving an exclusive tell-all TV interview to talk show host David Letterman in April in the hope of rebuilding her damaged reputation.

The source added: “Lindsay wants people to see the real her, not this drunken, out of control caricature she has become.”

Lindsay is currently on probation for driving under the influence (DUI) in 2007 after spending 14 days of a 90-day jail sentence behind bars in July 2010.

Britney Spears Will Release Her New Album On March 15

Britney Spears’ new album is slated for a March 15 release, according to a leaked one-sheet created by her label Jive Records that outlines the marketing campaign for the set. Jive confirmed to MTV News that the date listed on the sheet is accurate.

Also confirmed are various producers and songwriters who worked on the album, which still does not have a title. In addition to Dr. Luke and Max Martin — who together helmed lead single “Hold It Against Me” and are the album’s co-executive producers — Rodney Jerkins, R&B singer Avant, Stargate, Fraser T. Smith and Bloodshy are listed as collaborators.

Other details mentioned on the sales-solicitation sheet include a description of Britney’s highly-anticipated music video for “Hold It Against Me,” which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 last week.

The one-sheet sums up the video as “a sexy, edgy dance piece directed by Jonas Akerlund and showing Britney at peak form and ability.”

Spears seventh studio album, the follow-up to 2008′s “Circus,” will be available in both standard and deluxe versions, according to the sheet, with the latter including additional liner booklet pages and three or four extra tracks.

Fans can also expect “a major TV event to launch the album,” worldwide online contests and a “LGBT/lifestyle campaign” to market it to fans.
Spears’ manager, Adam Leber, recently spilled a few details involving her photo shoot for the album via Twitter, describing the shoot as “pure glam.” Fans should be on high alert for another leak, as Leber added, “Photos are nothing less than spectacular. We’ll share some soon.”

Jenna Jameson Slams Chelsea Handler On Twitter Calling Her A Dried Up Old Ho

Jenna Jameson has been in girl-on-girl situations before, but probably not like this.

The infamous former porn star took to her Twitter account early Thursday to slam comedienne Chelsea Handler.

“Chelsea handler makes fun of peoples kids… ” Jameson tweeted. “Probably because she’s a dried up old wh-re.”

Though the vulgar insult appeared unprovoked, it may be retaliation for comments Handler made in a December interview with Katie Couric for Glamour magazine.

When Couric asked the late-night host whether she ever has “second thoughts about being raunchy,” Handler took issue with the adjective.
“I say things that a lot of people wouldn’t say, and some of it probably isn’t in the best taste,” she said. “But when I hear the word raunchy, to me that describes Jenna Jameson.”

Jameson didn’t explain what prompted her diss, but she did stand by it.
“Just cuz I say it like it is…… Don’t hate……” she wrote. “She talks massive s—.. Ok, whatever….”

And it seems Jameson isn’t the only one upset with the irreverent comic.
It’s hard to imagine a tough guy like 50 Cent having a soft, emotional side, but Handler reportedly left the rapper “heartbroken” when she ended their romance before the holidays last month.

According to Us Weekly, Fitty “spent Christmas sending her gifts, but she sent them back.”

“She put a note on one that said, ‘I can buy my own gifts,’ ” a source told the mag.

Lindsay Lohan Still Looking Hot

17 Year Old Teresa Scanlan Is Miss America

A 17-year-old Nebraskan too young to cast a ballot has captured enough votes to win the Miss America crown, kickstarting her hopes of going to law school and eventually becoming a politician.

“I want to be there making sure that I stand up for what’s right, stand up for integrity and honesty,” Teresa Scanlan told The Associated Press on Saturday night after becoming the first Miss America from the Cornhusker State.

She won a $50,000 scholarship and a year’s reign in one of the most visible positions any young woman could seek.

Scanlan captured the hearts of seven judges after a night of playing the piano, walking across a Las Vegas stage in a white gown and black bikini, and saying security trumps the public’s right to knowledge when it comes to government leaks.

She said she’ll register to vote as an independent after turning 18 next month, and work toward her goals by going to law school and perhaps becoming a prosecutor, then judge.

“At this point, attorneys and politicians are looked down on and have terrible reputations for being greedy and power hungry and I really think it’s important for people who have their heart and mind in the right place get into those powerful positions,” Scanlan told the AP.

“When I talk to kids my age, I don’t find very many who are interested in that, because many are just turned off to the idea,” she said. “I think it’s important that we get a lot more of my generation willing to step up and go into those positions.”


Scanlan beat out 52 beauty queens from other U.S. states, plus Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands and the District of Columbia. She said she was a bit worried after a preliminary interview with judges and hoped they would think a 17-year-old could do the job.

Clearly, they did.

“And I never passed up a cookie on my journey here,” Scanlan said.
She’s the youngest Miss America since the pageant implemented age limits in 1938. Rosemary LaPlanche was runner-up in 1940 and easily won the crown in 1941 despite being one month too young to compete, according to the pageant’s website.

Scanlan said age didn’t matter as the pageant celebrated its 90th birthday, though she thought her age might have made her an underdog.
“We were on an even playing field,” she said. “From 17 to 24, that can be a huge age range. But with these girls, they are all at the highest level imaginable.”

Miss Arkansas Alyse Eady won $25,000 as first runner-up, while Miss Hawaii Jalee Fuselier won $20,000 for third place.

Scanlan, a recent high school graduate from the western Nebraska town of Gering, planned to study American politics at Patrick Henry College in Virginia after her reign as Miss America. Scanlan said she planned to defer her university enrollment until she finishes her reign with the crown.
During the nationally televised pageant, Scanlan answered a question about Wikileaks by saying the United States should focus on security first.
“You know when it came to that situation, it was actually based on espionage, and when it comes to the security of our nation, we have to focus on security first and then people’s right to know, because it’s so important that everybody who’s in our borders is safe and so we can’t let things like that happen, and they must be handled properly,” she said.
Scanlan said the question was easier for her than a generic one, because she has routinely discussed current events with her family since she was young.

The contestants – from every state plus the District of Columbia, the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico – started the show by dancing up the aisles while wearing silver cocktail dresses.

A panel of seven judges eyed them for looks and fitness. The competition included evening gown, talent and interview portions, with eliminations for 15 finalists, then 12, then 10, five and finally the winner along the way.
The judges had picked the three top finishers plus Miss Oklahoma Emoly West; Miss Texas Ashley Melnick; Miss Rhode Island Deborah Saint-Vil; Miss Utah Christina Lowe; Miss Washington Jacquie Brown; Miss Arizona Kathryn Bulkley; Miss Virginia Caitlin Uze, and Miss California Arianna Afsar.
Fans voted in Miss New York Claire Buffie and Miss Delaware Kayla Martell.
And in a first-ever twist for the contest, the young women picked two finalists themselves, Miss Kentucky Djuan Trent and Miss Oregon Stephenie Denise Steers.

In her introduction to the audience, Bulkley dedicated her performance to U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, who was shot in the head last week in Tucson. Bulkley called Giffords her mentor.

The Miss America Organization bills itself as the country’s largest scholarship provider for women, with $349,000 in prizes given this year at the national level.
